Last Friday night, our wMu (Womens Missionary Union) ladies and our CiA (Children in Action) had a great time putting together our Shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. Some of us wrapped boxes, some of us went through the "assembly line" to pick out just the right items for the boy or girl we had in our mind's eye that would receive that box. Most of us ate cake & cookies and did alot of talking and hugging. We ran out of shoeboxes and while a couple of our ladies went to get some more, some of the kids built a ... well I don't know exactly what it was ... out of pencils. The kids were a big help and so excited about sending out God's love in boxes going where only He knew all over the world. Praying for each child and their families...that we will get to meet them in Heaven someday!
