Working at Rebecca's house in Pascagoula

While the Tates Creek Disaster Relief/Rebuild Team was in Pascagoula, Mississippi last week, we worked on 4 different houses. The girls and I only worked at Rebecca's house though and we had such a blessed time! Here are a few pictures

This is a FEMA cottage that Rebecca has been staying in since the trailers were outlawed because of some kind of chemical. For the first several weeks after Katrina, she lived in a truck camper. This little cottage was actually kinda nice. But wait till you see the house that has been built entirely by volunteer labor!

The team worked on it last year and it is almost complete now. She hopes to be in before Christmas. We painted the baseboards outside....

And the men handed them upstairs to be installed

This is Rebecca's 2 Spitz doggies, Jake and Micah....she had another smaller female named "Boo"

First time I have ever done any caulking and it was fun, but my fingers got sore.
I am so thankful God lets me serve Him by serving others! Thankful that even though 8 of us got a stomach bug while we were there, it didn't last long (devil can't hold us down!) and we all stayed safe working and on the trip home!! I will post more later about the great time we have together as we work, pray and live together for a whole week in the Jackson County Baptist Association Bunk House in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
